Water sports

Spending time next to the Sea without water sports, for many this option does not exist. And here in Pelion there are 2 seas with beautiful beaches for all taste.

You can get involved with sailing, windsurfing, surf, water skiing or sea kayak.

Sea kayak is the best way to enjoy, with a different point of view the sea, the beautiful coastline and beaches of Pelion. During the summer when the weather is good and the waters of Pelion are crystal clear, you can explore and reach places where are only accessible with the kayak.

It is also a very good form of exercise, and doing it with a friend or partner, it will turn into a nice longhour fun.

You will have the opportunity to paddle into the most beautiful, pristine and remote beaches of the Aegean Sea or the far more tranquil waters of Pagasitikos Gulf. Starting from Elitsa, located on the side of the Aegean Sea, prepare for a trip among unique rock formations and beaches such as Agioi Saranda, Plaka, Agios Ioannis, Papa Nero, Damouchari, Fakistra, Milopotamos, Lambinou, Plaka Neochoriou,  Pantazis ammos, Potoki, Mouritsa, Potistika, Melani, Paltsi, Mourtias, Lyri and Katigiorgis.

Paddling in the deep waters after Katigiorgis you will find Kastro, Platanias, Mikro, Akrotiri Grava, and in the narrow Gulf of Pagasitikos, Agia Kyriaki and Millo. If you choose to paddle into the waters of Pagasitikos Gulf you will find Palio Trikeri, which is an independent island and is worth to explore it. Continuing, you will enjoy the calm waters of the Kottes, Tzasteni, Marathias, Milina, Horto, Pau, Kalamos, Lefokastro, Afissos, Koropi, Kala Nera, Kato Gatzea, Malaki, Platanidia and you will end up in beautiful Agria of Pelion.

In recent years, more people get engaged with sea kayaking and there are more traders who rent kayaks and at the same time they offer lessons.

"Dear Guests ,

this year there are direct flights to Volos from Amsterdam, Brussels, London, Munich, and Vienna. There are also flights to Skiathos from Luton, Gatwick and Stansted, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle, and Nottingham.

After spending time in Greece this summer, I`ve constantly been slammed by questions from travelers with one eye on their vacations and another on Greece`s financial crisis.
Is it safe to travel to Greece right now?
